Colombian singer Feid presented Thursday his new EP, ‘FEID VS FERXXO’, in which he explores the duality of his career and explores his musical roots, his label said in a statement.
The production features seven songs, which explore “the essence of the Ferxxo that connected with the public from the beginning and Feid’s evolution as one of the most influential voices in Latin music today,” said Universal Music in a statement.

Each piece, the information added, shows a different facet of the artist, who maintains his “melodic sensibility” but explores “new textures and rhythms”.
Feid talks about the duality of his career in ‘FEID VS FERXXO’.
“The track that opens the EP (‘Que vuelta vox’) introduces a beach vibe with reggae influences, creating a relaxed and nostalgic atmosphere that recalls the sounds that marked Ferxxo’s first moments,” said the label, which added that the project “also includes more intimate moments, such as a ballad in which the artist reflects on a deep love that marked an important stage of his life.”

The EP’s only collaboration is ‘Medellin Takai’, with Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, “expanding the project’s global reach and demonstrating Feid’s ability to fuse influences from different cultures within his signature musical universe”.
The launch of this production also precedes the artist’s presentation this Friday at the Carlos Vieco Theater in his native Medellín, reported Agencia EFE.
