Argentine coach Gabriel Milito’s Chivas de Guadalajara went from strength to strength to defeat Atlas 1-2 on Saturday in the Guadalajara derby and move up to third place in the Mexican soccer Clausura.

In the continuation of the tenth matchday, a mistake at the start cost Guadalajara to start behind, after Ramírez scored with a left-footed shot in the 12th minute.

Chivas took control of the game, but lacked the finishing touches until the 48th minute, when Gonzalez converted a right-footed shot from Roberto Alvarado to make it 1-1.

In the 73rd minute, Colombian goalkeeper Camilo Vargas confirmed his great form by saving a penalty kick from González, but the Atlas defense failed again and Sepúlveda did convert the penalty in the 84th minute to seal the victory for the visitors.
