Puerto Rican reguetonero Jory Boy presents this Thursday his new album, ‘Matando La Liga 2’, under the record label La Base Music Group, of his colleague and compatriot Wisin, who is also one of several guests on the production.
The album, which features 19 songs that fuse the romantic and street essence, also includes collaborations with Farruko, Chencho Corleone, Jowell y Randy, J Balvin, Caleb Calloway, Gotay ‘El Autentiko’ and Ñengo Flow, according to a statement from the label.
This new album by Jory Boy is the sequel to his first album, ‘Matando La Liga’ (2015).
Jory Boy, whose given name is Fernando Luis Sierra Benítez, began his career as a member of the duo Nova & Jory, which consolidated in the early 2010s as one of the most successful.

Songs like ‘Bien Loco’, ‘Aprovecha’ with Daddy Yankee and ‘La noche perfecta’ marked a golden era for reggaeton duos.
However, the duo broke up and Jory embarked on a solo career, demonstrating a unique vocal versatility and lyrical sensibility that has set him apart within the genre.
His style has served as inspiration for a new generation of artists, including global phenomena such as Bad Bunny and Maluma, who have cited Jory as one of their earliest musical influences.
Over the course of more than a decade, Jory Boy has been a key figure in the development of modern reggaeton, reported Agencia EFE, especially in its transition towards more melodic, intimate and emotional sounds.
