Universal Studios will incorporate the horror franchise “Hellraiser” into its Halloween Horror Nights event, with new haunted houses inspired by the original film trilogy, the company announced Tuesday.
The attractions will open on August 28 in Orlando, Florida, and on September 3 in Hollywood, California.
The haunted houses at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood are based on the first three films in the series: ‘Hellraiser,’ ‘Hellbound: Hellraiser II,’ and ‘Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth.’

British actor Doug Bradley, who played Pinhead in the original trilogy, will reprise the role and provide the voice for both attractions.
The franchise, created by Clive Barker, debuted in 1987 and popularized the “Lament Configuration,” a puzzle box that, when solved, opens a portal to another dimension inhabited by the Cenobites—beings who practice ritual torture— and by their leader, Pinhead.
Halloween Horror Nights will be held on select nights through November 1 at both parks, according to Agencia EFE.
