Mexican actor and singer Sergio Mayer Mori surprised the audience by sharing a deeply personal confession during his first night on the reality show La Granja VIP. In a moment of honesty and vulnerability, the young man revealed that his decision to join the program was motivated by a difficult economic situation and by his desire to rediscover the humility and values that, according to him, he had lost in recent years.
Mayer Mori, son of actor and politician Sergio Mayer Bretón and renowned actress Bárbara Mori, explained that the last year and a half has been a period of great personal and professional changes.

That attitude, he explained, ended up leaving him without a job and without income, an experience that forced him to rethink his priorities and understand the true value of effort.

“I didn’t have a job, opportunities came my way and I shit on them. I thought they were beneath me. When I got this project, I thought: thank you, I’ll have money to pay for Mila’s school and to eat,” she confessed.
The young artist revealed that there were months at a time when he barely had enough to eat and sometimes had to go to his parents’ house just to get something to eat.
“We get paid well in television, but as it comes in, it goes out. I was never given a good financial education. I was going hungry, not for a day, months. There was nothing in my refrigerator, not even five pesos in my purse,” she recounted.
These words reflect the frankness with which the interpreter assumed his mistakes and the maturity he has developed in facing the consequences of his decisions.
