Mexico’s Jarren Durán showed the speed of his legs to go around all four pads with an inside-the-park home run and hit one of the hardest hits in Major League Baseball on Sunday.

RED STOCKINGS 5-2 PIRATES

Jarren Duran hit an inside-the-park home run and drove in three runs to lead the Red Sox victory over the Pirates.

Venezuelan Carlos Narváez scored one and Ceddanne Rafaela drove in a run, while Cuban Aroldis Chapman pitched the ninth with no walks to earn the save.

Dominican Alexander Canario hit a home run for the Pirates.

ASTROS 0-3 ANGELINOS

Dominican Jose Soriano allowed just one hit in seven innings of work, in which he struck out eight batters, to lead the Angelinos to a win over the Astros.

Venezuelan Oswald Peraza hit a home run and Kenley Jansen pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save.

For the Astros, Cuba’s Yordan Álvarez and Mexico’s Ramón Urías each had one hit.

METS 1-5 MARLINS

Dominican Sandy Alcantara allowed one run in seven innings, with six strikeouts, and fellow Dominican Agustin Ramirez hit a two-run home run for the Marlins to beat the Mets.

Dominicans Otto Lopez and Heriberto Hernandez each had a run and Venezuelan Javier Sanoja scored once for the Marlins.

GUARDIANS 2-4 SAILORS

Cuban Randy Arozarena hit a two-run home run and Dominican Julio Rodríguez produced two runs as the Mariners defeated the Guardians.

Mexico’s Andrés Muñoz struck out two batters in one inning on the mound and earned the save for Seattle.

GIANTS 13-2 ORIOLES

Dominican Rafael Devers homered, scored and drove in two runs, Puerto Rico’s Heliot Ramos homered twice and drove in one to back Justin Verlander, who struck out 10 in five innings in the Giants’ win over the Orioles.

Dominican Willy Adames and Venezuelan Luis Matos each scored and drove in a run for the winners.

Cuba’s Yennier Cano pitched 1.1 shutout episodes for the Orioles.

REALES 0-5 TIGRES

Tarik Skubal completed seven shutout innings and Venezuela’s Gleyber Torres drove in a run to lead the Tigers to a shutout victory over the Royals.

Dominican Rafael Montero pitched a complete game for the Tigers.

Venezuelan Maikel García hit two hits for the Royals.

WHITE STOCKINGS 3-2 YANKEES

Venezuelan Martin Perez pitched six innings of two-run, seven-strikeout ball, and fellow Venezuelan Lenyn Sosa hit a tie-breaking home run in the eighth to help the White Sox overcome the Yankees.

Dominican Luis Gil allowed two hits in 5.1 chapters, with seven strikeouts, and Aaron Judge hit a home run to catch Yogi Berra on the Yankees’ home run list, both with 358, according to EFE.
