The Guadalajara-based band officially confirmed its participation in the halftime show in a post on its social media accounts, putting an end to the rumors that had been circulating in recent days.

“See you Sunday at halftime—get ready to sing at the top of your lungs. Let’s make sure they hear us all the way to England. Let’s go for it, Mexico!” the band wrote on its official Instagram account.
The match comes at a crucial time for the Mexican national team, which will look to defeat England to secure its spot in the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In addition, the match holds special significance, as it is the last game of the tournament to be played in Mexico before the competition continues in the United States.
This won’t be Maná’s first appearance at this World Cup.

It all started when the lead singer of Oasis predicted a landslide victory for England over Mexico on social media.
He first mentioned a 5-0 score and later revised his prediction to 3-0, saying he had complete confidence in Harry Kane to lead England to the quarterfinals.
The comments did not go unnoticed by Fher, who responded with a video inviting the British musician to wait for the result on the field.
“Come on, don’t be ridiculous—get a grip, man. We’ll see each other there on Sunday to see how it goes,” said the Mexican singer.
Later, Gallagher clarified that his comments had been meant as a joke and said he has always been treated with great warmth during his visits to Mexico.
