Querétaro came from behind to defeat Puebla 1-2 on Friday in the start of the seventeenth matchday, the last of the regular phase, of the Mexican soccer Clausura.
With the win, Querétaro reached 20 points and moved up to eleventh place, while Puebla remained in seventeenth place with 13 points; both teams are already eliminated.

For Puebla, Brayan Garnica opened the scoring, but Querétaro turned it around with goals from Ali Ávila and Daniel Parra.
Puebla took the lead in the 10th minute thanks to a mistake by Spaniard Carlo García.
In an attempt to return the ball, he gave the ball to Brayan Garnica, who controlled the ball and shot at an empty net due to the goalkeeper’s poor positioning.
Five minutes later, Garnica was sent off for a tackle from behind on Juan Cázares.
Querétaro reacted in the second half and equalized in the 55th minute from a cross by Argentine Lucas Rodríguez that was headed in by Ali Ávila.
