Argentinians Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso joked about melting down the five Latin Grammys they won Thursday at the 26th edition of Latin music’s most prestigious awards to make themselves “a chain”.

“We’re going to melt them and we’re going to make a chain (…) a chain that I’m going to wear around my neck,” Amoroso said as he passed through the press room while carrying three of the five golden gramophones.

The Argentinians won five Latin Grammya for best alternative song and best music video short version for ‘#Tetas’.

In addition to best pop song for ‘El día del amigo’, and best alternative music album and best music video long version for ‘Papota’.

The album ‘Papota’, their second project together, references anabolic steroids to ironically question the superficiality of the music industry.

The duo of the moment also announced that their next project will be called ‘Top of the Hill’, and that it will be released “soon”, although they did not specify a date.

Amoroso promises answers

“In ‘Top of the Hill’ are going to be the answers,’ Amoroso told EFE when asked about where he is in his career after a successful year.

The Argentines’ career took off internationally after the duo performed a Tiny Desk concert on U.S. public radio station NPR in October of last year.
