Spain’s Lola Índigo, Colombia’s Greeicy, and Puerto Ricans Jay Wheeler and Kany García are among the first group of artists announced Wednesday by Billboard for this year’s Latin Music Week, which will begin in October in Miami Beach, in the United States.

Joining these singers are Colombian artists Jessi Uribe, Paola Jara, and Ryan Castro; Puerto Rican artist RaiNao; Argentine artist Trueno; as well as the band Rawayana and singer-songwriter Zhamira, both from Venezuela, as part of the first announcement of artists who will gather from October 19 to 22, 2026, at the Faena Forum.

In addition to these performers, the organizers announced in a press release that industry executives such as Tommy Mottola—the husband of Mexican singer Thalía—as well as Nat Pastor and Víctor González would be participating.

What is Billboard’s Latin Music Week?

Billboard Latin Music Week, considered the largest gathering of the Spanish-language music industry because it brings together executives and artists, coincides with the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will be held in Miami on Thursday, October 22, and will be broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock.

Last year’s event celebrated 12 consecutive years of growth for Latin music—which is now the fourth-largest music genre in the United States—by bringing together artists such as Daddy Yankee, Pablo Alborán, Carín León, Aitana, and Laura Pausini.

“Latin music is a global powerhouse, listened to more than ever before around the world, and that’s thanks to its extraordinary artists and executives,” said Leila Cobo, co-director of content at Billboard.

Cobo noted that at the event, “the industry comes together to celebrate its achievements,” but also to “help shape its future,” so there will be conversations with artists, panel discussions, live performances, hands-on workshops, brand activations, and networking opportunities.

The organizers promised to provide more details about the guest artists and the Billboard Awards at a later date, but noted that tickets are already on sale, according to Agencia EFE.
