What started as a rumor of infidelity could turn into an immigration nightmare. Entertainment journalist Javier Ceriani assures that Ana Bárbara does not have citizenship and is now in danger of deportation, since her husband, who is under investigation by the U.S. government, could “turn her in” to save himself from jail. Is the Grupera Queen left alone?
Ana Bárbara’s stability seems to be hanging by a thread. While the show business world is still processing the shocking revelations of Adriana Toval, the alleged lover of Ángel Muñoz, a new and dark chapter is opening for the performer: the real risk of being expelled from the United States.
From infidelity to federal fraud
The controversy erupted when Adriana Toval, a Costa Rican journalist, brought to light audios and videos of intimate video calls with Ángel Muñoz.
According to Adriana, the romance began in 2025 and the audios show Ángel Muñoz with plans to “ruin the singer economically” and with a deep contempt for her children.
But Javier Ceriani was the most serious of all.
The journalist reported that Muñoz is under U.S. government scrutiny for alleged ties to criminal groups dedicated to immigrant smuggling.
Why is deportation a real threat?
After the evidence of Ángel Muñoz, aka “Shonathan’s” infidelity leaked, and the public hum1llation this meant for Ana Bárbara, many are asking the same question… 💔
Do you think Ana Bárbara will forgive him after all this?
I read you in the comments. 👀

According to Ceriani, Ana Bárbara would have made a strategic mistake: to fully entrust her legal status to her husband.
“He was so astute that he didn’t help her with citizenship; she only has residency by marriage,” explained the journalist.
The outlook for the Potosina is frightening:
The divorce dilemma: If Ana Barbara files for legal separation now, she could automatically lose her marital residency rights.
The final betrayal: It is speculated that, faced with an imminent arrest, Muñoz could negotiate with the authorities by “handing over” the singer’s secrets in order to reduce his own sentence.

Reports indicate that Ana Bárbara has already kicked Muñoz out of her Beverly Hills mansion, but the emotional cost is extremely high.
With no family nearby, estranged from her friends and with her children taking refuge with “El Pirru”, the singer finds herself in a legal and emotional dead end.
So far, the artist has maintained a sepulchral silence in her networks, limiting herself to promoting her music while Hurricane Muñoz threatens to take away everything she has built in U.S. territory.
