In recent months, Aleks Syntek’s name has been surrounded by versions of an alleged marital crisis with his wife, Karen Coronado. In social networks and some entertainment media outlets, there were reports of alleged infidelities -even that he had been with several women-, which sparked speculation about a possible divorce. However, these versions have not been publicly confirmed by the couple and have been handled mainly as rumors.
In the midst of this media noise, the singer announced that he would pause or reschedule the remaining dates of his Total Syntek Tour 2025 due to medical advice. Through a message to his followers, he explained that he was going through health issues that required rest and that, for the moment, his wellbeing was a priority. The decision implied stopping already scheduled engagements, with the promise to reschedule as soon as his condition allowed it.
Several media reported this pause as a temporary retirement from the stage, framing it in a period of pressure and public exposure that coincided with rumors about his personal life.
After several weeks of silence, Roberto Cantoral Zucchi -general director of the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico (SACM)- spoke about the performer’s situation. In a brief meeting with reporters, he explained that Syntek faced a workload that led to stress and anxiety, and that on medical advice he decided to slow down and take some time to recover.
Cantoral Zucchi detailed that the singer was in a clinic associated with rehabilitation and meditation processes, and that he was responding well to the treatment. He also pointed out that, although the evolution was positive, he could not specify a date of release, since that information corresponded to his family and the medical process itself.
Aleks Syntek’s divorce? The version that was denied

Regarding the alleged separation, Cantoral Zucchi affirmed that he spoke with Karen Coronado and that, as far as he knew, the version of the divorce was incorrect. In his words, he had no knowledge of a separation process and emphasized that he had maintained communication with her.
He also indicated that Karen and Aleks remained in contact while he continued his recovery, even though he was under care at the clinic.
With this, Cantoral’s public posture sought to curb the narrative of an impending divorce and, at the same time, focus the conversation on the health issue that motivated the professional pause.
For now, what is known for sure is that Syntek decided to stop his tour on medical advice and that, according to Cantoral Zucchi, the artist is going through a recovery process linked to anxiety and stress.
Regarding his private life, the most solid version spread so far is that the alleged divorce was not confirmed and was denied by the manager after talking to his wife.
