The Dallas Cowboys (6-5-1) defeated the Kansas City Chiefs (6-6) 31-28 on Thursday in the Thanksgiving Classic. Dak Prescott was 27-of-39 passing (including two touchdowns) for 320 yards, but also threw an interception.
Patrick Mohomes, meanwhile, finished 23-of-34 passing (four touchdowns) for 261 yards.
Chiefs strike twice, but Dallas responds

The Chiefs opened the scoring early with a Rashee Rice touchdown.
That turned a short pass from Patrick Mahomes into a 27-yard run to the end zone.
Harrison Butker added the extra point for Kansas City.
Rice’s action stemmed from a Justin Watson interception of a Dak Prescott pass; the Chiefs’ offensive series lasted just 36 seconds.
The Dallas Cowboys responded with a touchdown run by CeeDee Lamb, who secured a 15-yard touchdown catch from Prescott in the end zone.
Still in the first quarter, the Chiefs struck again with a touchdown run by Travis Kelce, who caught a red zone pass from Mahomes.
Butker signed the extra point to make it 7-14.
Cowboys come from behind before halftime

The Dallas Cowboys started the second quarter with a laborious possession of almost five minutes, which culminated in a Brandon Aubrey field goal.
Shortly before halftime, the Cowboys took their first lead of the game with a Malik Davis touchdown on a spectacular 43-yard run to make it 17-14 at halftime.
After an emotional halftime show featuring Post Malone, the Dallas Cowboys took the lead again.
But Jake Ferguson’s touchdown was overturned after a review.
Dallas finished the drive with another field goal to make it 20-14.
Rice scored his second touchdown of the night on a fourth-down reception from Mahomes in the red zone.
Butker put the Chiefs ahead again with the extra point.
Mahomes is not allowed to breathe

The Chiefs ‘ joy was short-lived.
On the next series, the Dallas Cowboys retook the lead with a Javonte Williams touchdown.
That converted a Prescott pass in the red zone, and they gambled on the two-point conversion, which was signed by George Pickens. 28-21.
Aubrey extended the Cowboys’ lead with another field goal at 5:16.
With little time left and needing at least two possessions, the Chiefs responded with a touchdown run by Hollywood Brown on a pass from Mahomes, bringing the score to 31-28.
But the Dallas Cowboys knew how to use up the remaining time, giving the Chiefs no more chances.
