Revenge? Taina Pimentel, Lupillo Rivera’s ex, reveals the identity of the singer’s new partner

Lupillo Rivera seems to have decided to give love another chance, and this time, he didn’t want to keep his relationship a secret. The regional Mexican music singer recently surprised his fans by sharing, for the first time, a photo with his apparent new partner, thereby making their romantic relationship public.
The post quickly sparked comments among his followers, but one of the reactions that drew the most attention was that of Taina Pimentel, the singer’s ex-partner, who found a unique way to respond to the announcement.

Shortly after Lupillo posted the romantic photo, Taina shared a video on her Instagram Stories in which she can be seen enjoying a concert.
Along with the photos, the actress and businesswoman wrote a sentence that many interpreted as a possible dig at her ex-partner: “When the present is enough, the past doesn’t spark as much curiosity.”
However, the detail that sparked the most discussion appeared at the end of the recording. Taina included a screenshot showing that Lupillo’s alleged new girlfriend, identified as @erikaa_batres, had viewed her Instagram Stories.
“We’re happy to answer your questions,” the Dominican woman wrote after posting the screenshot, leaving it open to interpretation as to why the woman might have been following her posts.
But her reaction didn’t end there. Taina also “liked” Lupillo’s post featuring him with his new partner. Far from hiding her action, she explained her decision with another comment that quickly caught people’s attention: “Supporting the algorithm. And I’m doing it openly.”
Taina’s posts prompted numerous users to take to her social media to express their support for her. The actress “liked” several of the comments she received, some of which directly referenced her past relationship with the singer.
Among the messages were phrases such as: “You’re beautiful. A lady like you doesn’t deserve leftovers,” while another user claimed that Lupillo’s new partner would be keeping an eye on Taina because, according to their interpretation, the singer still had his ex-partner on his mind.
Other internet users advised her to focus on her own life and move on from the relationship, sending her messages of encouragement and assuring her that new opportunities would come her way.
Taina announced the end of her relationship a month ago
Taina’s reaction comes about a month after she herself publicly confirmed the end of her relationship with Lupillo Rivera.
In late August, the Dominican woman took to Instagram to announce that she had decided to close a significant chapter in her life. At the time, she explained that it had been a difficult and emotional process, but she said she preferred to focus on the moments they shared and the lessons she learned during the relationship.
“Right now, I just want to go through this process peacefully and surrounded by the love of the people who care about me,” she said at the time.
Now, with Lupillo publicly showing off his new partner and Taina reacting on social media, both have once again become the focus of conversation among their followers.
