Karol G knows exactly which Argentine artist she’d like to collaborate with again. After reuniting with Cazzu in New York, the Colombian singer revealed that she wants to rekindle the musical connection the two have built over the years and hinted that she herself will reach out to the so-called “Queen of Trap” to propose a new collaboration.
The statement was made during a press conference with journalists from various countries in New Jersey, one day after the singer of “Tusa” performed one of her concerts at MetLife Stadium.
At a particularly important stage in her career, Karol G also spoke about her upcoming projects and the possibility of returning to the studio with Cazzu.
Karol G wants to work with Cazzu again

During the press conference, the Colombian singer didn’t hesitate to express her desire to collaborate with the Argentine artist again.
“I can publicly acknowledge that I want to collaborate with Cazzu; I’m going to reach out to her and consider her proposal,” Karol G said, making it clear that the idea won’t just remain a passing comment.
The singer explained that she recently had the opportunity to see Cazzu perform in New York and that the experience reminded her of the artistic connection between them.
“I connected with her a lot many years ago, and I’d love to work with her again sometime in the future. That would be fantastic,” he said.
For Karol, one of Cazzu’s main appeals is precisely her personality and the way the Argentine artist expresses herself through her music.
A connection that began years ago

Although no date or details have been confirmed yet for a new collaboration, this wouldn’t be the first time the two singers have shared the stage.
Karol G and Cazzu performed together in 2021 as part of “NEÓN,” the concert series headlined by J Balvin in Las Vegas. That collaboration marked one of their first musical partnerships, and years later, the two crossed paths again in New York.
The recent reunion seems to have sparked Karol’s interest in repeating that experience, although this time with the opportunity to create a completely new song.
The Colombian artist particularly highlighted Cazzu’s irreverent personality and explained that she believes that attitude embodies the spirit she sought to convey with the message, “I don’t regret being who I am.”
The potential collaboration with Cazzu comes as Karol G is going through a very busy period in her career. The singer received seven nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammys, once again establishing herself as one of the most prominent artists at the upcoming edition of the Latin music awards.
Among his nominations are Album of the Year for *Tropicoqueta* and Record of the Year for “Coleccionando Heridas,” a song he performs alongside Marco Antonio Solís.
This year’s list of artists with multiple nominations also includes names such as Rosalía, Jorge Drexler, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso.
For now, Karol G will have to wait to find out if Cazzu accepts her proposal, but the Colombian singer has already made it clear that she’s willing to take the first step so that the two can join voices once again.
