The past few days have been particularly difficult for Lourdes Stephen, who became the talk of the town after her husband, attorney Michael Puchades, posted a series of messages on social media making strong accusations against the host of *Al Rojo Vivo*.
While the lawyer’s posts sparked a heated debate among Instagram users and on other digital platforms, the host has chosen to remain silent and continue with her regular work on Telemundo. However, several of her colleagues have decided to speak out, dedicating public messages of support and recognition to her.
The controversy surrounding Lourdes Stephen

It all started when Michael Puchades shared a lengthy post on Instagram in which he questioned the way his wife, according to him, uses social media. In his posts, the lawyer called Lourdes “a promiscuous social media diva” and criticized the content the journalist shares with her followers.
The statements sparked a wave of reactions due to the tone of the accusations and quickly spread beyond social media. Despite the media coverage, Lourdes Stephen has not yet issued a statement or publicly responded to the allegations made by her husband.
Far from fueling the controversy, the journalist has continued to perform her duties as co-anchor of the Telemundo newscast, maintaining a low profile regarding her personal life.
Among the first celebrities to express their support were Lili Estefan and Raúl de Molina, hosts of the show *El Gordo y la Flaca*.
Lili posted a brief but heartfelt message in which she wrote: “Cousin, I love you so much, and we’re right here by your side.”
For his part, Raúl de Molina highlighted Lourdes’s personal qualities and wished her strength as she faces this difficult time.
“Lourdes, I love you and wish you the best. You’re a wonderful person. Keep going—happiness awaits you,” said the host.
The posts were widely shared by the host’s followers, who appreciated the public support from her colleagues.
More colleagues are joining the outpouring of support

Other Hispanic television programs also expressed their support for Lourdes. Michelle Galván, co-host of *Primer Impacto*, took the opportunity to share her memories of the journalist.
“Lulu, we love you and we know who you are—you’re a wonderful person,” wrote the Mexican journalist.
Venezuelan journalist Carolina Sandoval, a panelist on *¡Siéntese quien pueda!*, joined in this support, praising both Lourdes’s professional career and her role as a mother.
“We love you and respect your life’s work; you’re a woman of integrity and a wonderful mother. Woman, you embody everything that is right,” Sandoval said.
Another figure who decided to send a message of support was music producer Emilio Estefan, who highlighted the dedication Lourdes has shown throughout her career.
The businessman described her as “a woman who has worked very hard and has always been very professional,” thus joining the many voices that have publicly defended the host’s career.
While the controversy continues to spark conversation on social media, Lourdes Stephen remains focused on her work and, for now, is maintaining absolute silence on the situation, backed by colleagues and followers who have highlighted her professionalism and her career in Hispanic television.
