In the midst of one of the most difficult times of her personal life, Ana Patricia Gámez decided to turn her attention to a cause she considers even more urgent. The Mexican TV host, who is currently going through a highly publicized divorce from Luis Carlos Martínez, the father of her two children, took to social media to express her solidarity with the families affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela.

Although her legal situation has dominated much of the entertainment news in recent weeks, the host chose to put her personal matters aside for a moment to send a message of support to those facing the humanitarian crisis.

“These have been very difficult days because of everything Venezuela is going through. Like many others, I have felt sadness and helplessness seeing so many families affected,” she wrote in a post shared with her followers.

In addition to expressing her solidarity, Ana Patricia announced an initiative to contribute to relief efforts through Beashion, the clothing store she has been running for several years.

The businesswoman explained that for some time she had been unsure whether she should continue promoting her business while a tragedy of such magnitude was unfolding. However, she also acknowledged that the company provides a livelihood for both her family and the people on her team.

That’s why she decided to turn every purchase into an opportunity to help.

The host announced that she will donate 10 percent of the sales made over the next few days to organizations that support families affected by the earthquakes.

“I don’t expect a single purchase to change the course of a tragedy, but I do believe that when many people come together to make a small contribution, they can make a big difference,” she said. She also thanked those who are helping through donations, prayers, or by sharing useful information about the emergency.

While she is promoting this charitable initiative, the divorce proceedings between Ana Patricia Gámez and Luis Carlos Martínez continue to move forward in the Miami courts.

According to information reported by journalist Mandy Fridmann and court documents released by Las Top News, Martínez recently filed a motion with the Family Court requesting various temporary measures while the legal proceedings are ongoing.

These include a request for temporary spousal support to cover personal and household expenses, as well as continued financial support for the couple’s two children.

Motions filed with the court

According to the documents filed, during their 12 years of marriage, both were involved in the management of two family businesses. The filing states that Ana Patricia earned income primarily as a television host, influencer, and businesswoman, while Luis Carlos was responsible for the financial management of the companies, including accounting and payroll.

The motion also argues that the family maintained a high standard of living, with significant expenses such as annual tuition of nearly $92,000 for their children and mortgage payments of around $88,000 a year.

In addition, the businessman requested that the 50-50 joint custody arrangement be temporarily continued and that the court determine the allocation of expenses related to education, medical care, extracurricular activities, and child care.

So far, the Miami Family Court has not issued a ruling on the motions filed by Martínez, so the proceedings remain pending a court decision. Meanwhile, Ana Patricia has chosen to focus part of her attention on supporting those who are currently facing one of the most devastating tragedies recently recorded in Venezuela.
