Alejandro Fernández surprised his followers by revealing through social networks that he had to undergo emergency surgery. The renowned Mexican singer informed that he underwent surgery for appendicitis and that the procedure was successful, news that quickly generated concern, but also relief among his fans.

With these words, the singer confirmed that the intervention was successful and that he was already in the recovery process.
In a later post, he reiterated his gratitude without going into further details about his medical evolution. Hours later, he shared an image from the hospital bed, where he appears wearing glasses and accompanying the photograph with a phrase in English: “Don’t worry about a thing, because every little thing is gonna be all right”, a line from the iconic song “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley & The Wailers. The message, full of optimism, was interpreted as a sign of tranquility and emotional strength.
This is not the first time in recent months that the singer’s health has generated attention. In September 2025, the 54 year-old artist revealed that he went through a delicate medical situation due to complications derived from a treatment and a bacterium. In an interview with El Gordo y la Flaca, he explained that it all started with an eye problem that caused allergies and frequent infections.
To treat this condition, she received a strong medication that affected her stomach. To this was added a salmonellosis he had encapsulated, which triggered a complicated condition. “Several things came together… it tore my stomach to pieces,” he said at the time, describing how difficult it was to face that recovery process.
