The Dodgers handed the Brewers a severe 1-5 drubbing Tuesday and stretched their lead in the National League Championship Series to 2-0.
Japan’s Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a complete game and the Los Angeles team’s display was joined by Dominican Teoscar Hernandez and American Max Muncy, who took the ball out of Milwaukee’s American Family Field.
Yamamoto shines with complete set

The Dodgers will return home to play the next three games of the best-of-seven series.
Yamamoto (2-1) allowed just three hits and one run, his first of the game.
He retired seven batters on strikeouts to earn the Dodgers’ first postseason complete game since Dominican Jose Lima did it in 2004.
The only run allowed by Yamamoto was produced by Venezuelan Jackson Chourio, with a home run in the first at bat.
Hernandez matched the score in the second inning with a home run to left field that caught his compatriot Freddy Peralta.
Pages, Muncy and Ohtani drive the attack

The Dodgers added another run in the second inning with a double by Cuban Andy Pages, who drove in Puerto Rican Kiké Hernández.
The game remained with a slim lead for the Dodgers until the top of the sixth, when with two out, Muncy punished Peralta with a grounder that left the grounder over the center field wall.
Dave Roberts’ men came back in the top of the seventh, when they managed to add another run to the scoreboard with a single by Japanese Shohei Ohtani to bring Kiké Hernández to the plate.
The Dodgers completed their fifth scoring in the eighth inning on a single by Tommy Edman, who drove in Will Smith at the buzzer.
Dominican Peralta (1-2) allowed three runs in 5.2 innings of four strikeouts and took the loss.
