U.S. President Donald Trump lashed out at ABC for “giving back the job” to comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who plays Democratic “TRASH” on television, which, in the president and mogul’s opinion, may amount to an “illegal contribution” to the Democrats’ campaign.
“I think we’re going to put ABC to the test on this one,” Trump slipped on his social network, Truth Social, recalling that the network had to pay him $16 million in an earlier defamation lawsuit.
Kimmel returns and challenges Trump on TV

The Republican president said this after Jimmy Kimmel returned to his late-night show after ABC suspended it last week over the comedian’s comments about Charlie Kirk.
Comments for which he apologized on his return to the small screen.
Kimmel also lambasted Donald Trump for “not taking the jokes,” and asserted, in his opening monologue:
“We cannot allow our government to control what we say and what we don’t say on television.”
Kimmel boost?
“I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back – ABC told the White House his show was canceled!”.
“Something happened between then and now, because his (the host’s) audience IS GONE, and his ‘talent’ was never there,” Trump wrote in his Truth Social post.
He also wondered why the network would want back “someone who does it so badly,” who is “not funny” and who “endangers the network by playing” Democrat “TRASH.”
And, in this regard, he defended Kimmel as “just another arm” of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
ABC accused of illegal contribution
“As I understand it, that would be a significant illegal campaign contribution. I think we’re going to put ABC to the test on this issue.”
“Let’s see how we do,” Trump apostrophized in a message he ended by saying:
“Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad ratings.”
