This Thursday, August 21, rapper Lil Nas X, known for global hits such as Old Town Road, was hospitalized and arrested in Los Angeles after being seen walking alone in underwear and cowboy boots in the streets, in what authorities believe to be a possible case of overdose.
Videos obtained by media outlets such as TMZ show the artist with a traffic cone over his head, claiming he was on his way to a party.
After several 911 calls, police arrived at the scene – on Ventura Boulevard, Studio City – around 5:50 a.m. and transported him to a hospital after he slapped an officer, which resulted in a warrant for his arrest for assault on a peace officer.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the artist was admitted for a possible overdose, although it did not release specific details about substances.
He was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor assault on an officer.
Following his medical evaluation, he was booked and is currently being held at the Van Nuys jail.
This incident comes on the heels of another health scare in April, when Lil Nas X was hospitalized after losing control of the right half of his face, in what is suspected to be facial paralysis.
The artist himself shared a video from the hospital bed informing his fans that, although he looked strange, he was fine and with his characteristic sense of humor.
