Aparicio Napan Chumpitaz, better known as Huaycoloro, passed away this week, as confirmed by his daughter in a social media post.
The news moved thousands of fans who, for years, had come to see him as one of the most iconic characters on *Laura en América*, a show hosted by Laura Bozzo that achieved great popularity in Peru, Mexico, and other Latin American countries.
To accompany the announcement, her daughter shared a video in which Laura Bozzo publicly expressed the deep affection and respect she had always felt for the person who was one of her closest collaborators during the show’s most successful period.
The post quickly drew messages of condolence from fans who fondly recalled Huaycoloro’s appearances on television.
A figure inseparable from Laura Bozzo
