Puerto Rican artists Chayanne and Gilberto Santa Rosa, along with Venezuelan artists such as Corina Smith and the duo Chino y Nacho, have joined the lineup of performers who will take the stage on August 16 at a charity concert in Miami to benefit those affected by the devastating double earthquake in Venezuela.
Venezuelan artists Micro TDH, Noreh, Jerry Di, Jonathan Moly, Joaquina, Nella, and Jorge Luis Chacín, as well as Americans of Hispanic descent Isadora and Manu Manzo, will also take part in the event, according to a statement released Thursday by the coalition Unidos por Venezuela, the concert’s organizer.
This is the second batch of artists announced for the show, which will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami starting at 6:00 p.m. local time (10:00 p.m. GMT) on the 16th and will be broadcast live.
Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, and Feid were among the first wave of confirmed performers, along with Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Silvestre Dangond, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Olga Tañón, Lasso, San Luis, Piso 21, Alleh, Zhamira Zambrano, and Enrique Santos.

Alongside the concert, audience members will be able to make donations through various platforms and QR codes, the organizers announced.
The concert will be accompanied by reports on the rescue efforts, the work of organizations on the ground, and testimonies from those affected, to help the public understand the magnitude of the disaster.
On June 24, Venezuela was struck by a pair of earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, which primarily affected the cities of Caracas and La Guaira in the northern part of the Caribbean nation.
At least 5,398 people have died and 16,740 have been injured, according to the most recent official tally from Venezuelan authorities.
The funds raised during the concert “will be managed by renowned international humanitarian organizations to address the needs that will arise during the various phases of recovery,” according to Unidos por Venezuela, as reported by Agencia EFE.
