The wait is over for fans of The Warning. After building anticipation with the release of the singles “Ego” and “Kerosene,” the renowned Mexican band has officially confirmed the release of its fifth studio album, a project titled Everything’s Falling, which will be released on August 28.
The announcement marks an important milestone in the Villarreal sisters’ career, as they continue to establish themselves as one of the most prominent acts in contemporary rock.
As part of this new phase, the band also released “Ritual,” the third single from the album, accompanied by a striking music video that has already begun to catch the attention of their fans.
“Ritual,” a story set in a post-apocalyptic world
The music video for “Ritual,” directed by Knifee and Roses—a project led by Kathya Velázquez—presents a visual narrative rich in symbolism. In it, Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal appear as three fallen angels surviving in a post-apocalyptic setting where their wings have been taken from them.
The video combines dark elements, futuristic imagery, and an unsettling atmosphere that perfectly matches the song’s message. Through this visual concept, the band explores feelings of uncertainty, vulnerability, and inner struggle.
One of the song’s most representative verses captures precisely that emotional conflict: “Ignoring my prescription, I’ve found my new addiction. Now I neither eat nor sleep. My mind is making up stories,” sings Daniela, conveying the feeling of a mind trapped in obsessive thoughts and imaginary scenarios.
The members of The Warning explained that “Ritual” explores a feeling that many people can relate to: the constant fear of losing what they love or cherish.

As they explained, the song is about how anxiety can creep in even during life’s happiest moments, creating the feeling that something bad is about to happen.
“It’s about the fear of losing something good. Even when everything seems to be going well, anxiety can make you believe that disaster is just around the corner. It’s a song about getting caught up in those thoughts and letting them prevent you from fully enjoying the present,” the artists said.
This theme taps into universal emotions and reveals a more introspective side of the band, which has shown remarkable growth in both its lyrics and its musical style.
The Warning: An album that reflects growth and maturity
With “Ritual,” there are now three songs that offer a glimpse into the sonic and emotional world of Everything’s Falling. According to the band members themselves, the album faithfully reflects the personal and professional phase they are currently going through.
The Villarreal sisters acknowledged that the past few years have been a process of profound transformation, not only as musicians but also as people.
“We’ve grown a lot over the years. This album reflects our experiences, the lessons we’ve learned, and all the challenges we’ve had to overcome,” they said.

They also explained that the project revolves around the idea of accepting life’s uncertainties and understanding that it is not always possible to control everything that happens.
With the release of “Ritual” and the confirmation of *Everything’s Falling*, The Warning officially kicks off the countdown to one of the most important releases of their career.
The album will be available starting August 28 and promises to showcase a more mature, honest, and emotional side of the Mexican band, which continues to conquer international stages and gain fans around the world. As the release date approaches, fans already have a new glimpse of what this highly anticipated album will be like.
