Colombian band Morat teamed up with vallenato singer Silvestre Dangond to present their new song ‘Lo poco que yo quiero’, the first preview of their upcoming album ‘Ya es mañana – parte 2’ which will be released in 2027 and which “unites two apparently different worlds under the same intensity”, informed their press team.

This single, already available on digital platforms, is a “meeting point where pop-rock and the narrative intensity of vallenato coexist” and allows “breaking sonic barriers” without losing the essence of the band and the artist from Guajira.

“Morat and Silvestre find in this collaboration the same language: that of those who insistently pursue something that seems unattainable, living between nostalgia, anxiety and the desperation of feeling that what they most desire is simply not happening,” the information detailed.

The song begins with a guitar melody, characteristic of Morat, which is maintained throughout the 3:34 minute duration and becomes the “backbone of the song” over which Silvestre Dangond provides a powerful vocal performance.

The song is produced by Andrés Torres, Mauricio Rengifo and Juan Pablo Isaza, who were also in charge of the composition along with Juan Pablo Villamil and Simón and Martín Vargas, members of Morat.

The music video for the song, made by the production company We Want To Film under the direction of Venezuelan Charlie Nelson, was filmed in Miami and shows a “visual universe” that will be maintained in ‘Ya es mañana – parte 2’, the band’s sixth studio album.

The video shows a man waiting for his girlfriend to propose, but she never shows up, which generates uncertainty and desperation in the protagonist and immerses the viewer in an atmosphere of sensitivity in which the voices of Silvestre Dangond and the band members stand out.

This musical production comes at a special moment for Morat, which recently had a successful performance at the Coachella 2026 music festival in California, consolidating its international impact.

The band also sold out six concert dates at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena on August 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 as part of its new ‘Ya es mañana World Tour’, reported Agencia EFE, and added an all-time record of more than 24 sold-out concerts in countries such as Chile, Argentina and Spain.
