Mexican actress Vanessa Guzmán, known for her career in television and for her participation in beauty pageants, confirmed through an official statement that her home in El Paso, Texas, was shot at over the weekend. Carbajal explained that she learned of the incident while Guzmán was giving an interview in Mexico. In the middle of the conversation, the actress reportedly received an urgent call, left for a few minutes and returned visibly upset.
“She came back with her eyes swollen from the scare,” the journalist commented, describing Vanessa’s obvious concern after learning what had happened.
The reporter said that the actress’ youngest son, who was home alone, heard gunshots near the house and threw himself to the ground to protect himself.
