Bad Bunny became the most nominated Latino artist for a Grammy with a Spanish-language album.

Bad Bunny earned six Grammy Award nominations on Friday: best song, recording, album, urban music album, overall performance, cover, for his work ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’.

In the category of best Latin pop album are nominated Rauw Alejandro, for ‘Cosa Nuestra’; Andrés Cepeda, for ‘Bogotá Deluxe’; Karol G, for ‘Tropicoqueta’; Natalia Lafourcade, for ‘Cancionera’, and Alejandro Sanz, for ‘¿Y ahora qué?’.

In addition to Bad Bunny with ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’, J Balvin, for ‘Mixteip’; Feid, for ‘FERXXO VOL X: Sagrado’; Nicki Nicole, for ‘Naiki’; Trueno, for ‘EUB DELUXE’ and Yandel, for ‘SINFÓNICO (en vivo)’ will compete for the best urban music album.

In the category of best Latin rock or alternative album are nominated the Colombian group Bomba Estéreo and the Venezuelan band Rawayana, for ‘ASTROPICAL’; Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, for ‘PAPOTA’; Los Wizzards, for ALGORHYTHM; Fito Páez, for ‘Novela’ and Aterciopelados, for ‘Genes Rebeldes’.

The best Mexican music album contenders for ‘Mala Mía’ are Fuerza Regida and Grupo Frontera, a group that repeats nomination in the same category with ‘Y lo que viene’. The list is completed by Paola Jara, for ‘Sin rodeos’; Carín León, for ‘Palabra de To’s (Seca)’ and Bobby Pulido, for ‘Bobby Pulido & Friends for ‘Una Tuya Y Una Mía – Por La Puerta Grande (en vivo)’.

Fotografías’ by Rubén Blades and the Roberto Delgado & Orquesta; ‘Raíces’ by Gloria Estefan; ‘Clásicos 1.0’ by Grupo Niche; ‘Bingo’ by Alain Pérez; and ‘Debut y Segunda Tanda, Vol. 2’ by Gilberto Santa Rosa will compete for best Latin tropical album.

In the best musical theater album category, Buena Vista Social Club is nominated, reported Agencia EFE, and Venezuelan orchestra conductor Gustavo Dudamel is up for four Grammys: best orchestral performance with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra for ‘Bolero de Ravel’; best contemporary classical composition, for ‘Ortiz: Dzonot’; and best classical compendium and best choral performance, both for ‘Ortiz: Yanga’.
