That&#8217;s already Bingo&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The instrumentalist, composer, producer, arranger and singer felt &#8220;a joy, a reward&#8221; when he learned last Wednesday that his album was nominated in the Tropical-Contemporary category awarded by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e9rez described Bingo as &#8220;a song, a metaphor of joy, it is a celebration of when we win, it is the power of music&#8221; and reflects that &#8220;each album is a dream, a journey, a meeting with the music that one is maturing, that which one has lived, that which one dreams of and that which one wants to share&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>Alain Perez and his previous win<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_81373\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-81373\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-81373 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/nuevaonda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/49cbb6a3-a91c-4cee-8507-eb46af70d1b3.jpg\" alt=\"Alain P\u00e9rez, music\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1449\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-81373\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">PHOTO: Instagram &#8216;Alain Perez&#8217;.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He also said that the moment reminds him of his experience as winner of the best Tropical-Traditional album in the 2021 edition, with the album &#8216;Cha cha cha ch\u00e1: Homenaje a lo tradicional&#8217;, of which he was producer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were happy for the nomination, but when the bell rings and they announce that the award goes to &#8216;Cha cha ch\u00e1&#8217;, that was tremendous, very exciting,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ala\u00edn P\u00e9rez is nominated for the 26th Latin Grammy Awards, to be held on November 13, 2025 in the U.S. city of Las Vegas, along with other Cuban artists living on the island and in other countries, reported Agencia EFE, including Camila Guevara, Isaac Delgado, Orquesta Fa\u00edlde, Iv\u00e1n &#8220;Mel\u00f3n&#8221; Lewis, Pedrito Mart\u00ednez, Ariel Br\u00ednguez and Aldo L\u00f3pez Gavil\u00e1n, Chucho Vald\u00e9s, Gloria Estefan, Paquito D&#8217;Rivera, Malena Burke, Meme Sol\u00eds and Albita Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more at <a href=\"http:\/\/nuevaonda.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8216;QueOnnda.com&#8217;.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Renowned Cuban musician Alain Perez said Monday that he received &#8220;as an injection&#8221; the nomination for the Latin Grammy Awards 2025 for his new album &#8216;Bingo&#8217;, which he will present this week to the Cuban public in Havana.
