On a brilliant night at Chase Stadium<\/a>, Inter Miami defeated Pumas UNAM 3-1 and sealed their place in the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup 2025. With Lionel Messi absent due to a muscular discomfort, the offensive responsibility fell to Luis Su\u00e1rez and Rodrigo De Paul, who were decisive in the comeback of the team led by Javier Mascherano.<\/p>\n

Pumas took the lead in the 34th minute with a goal by Ruvalcaba, but Inter Miami responded before halftime with a goal by Rodrigo De Paul, who scored his first goal in the pink jersey. In the second half, Suarez converted a classy penalty kick, and Tadeo Allende closed the scoring after an assist from De Paul himself.
