This was expressed by Stephanie Himonidis Sedano, better known as Chiquibaby, in her program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VkWSmTC2fTM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cEl Show de tu Chiquibaby\u201d<\/a> on YouTube, where she addressed the controversy, the benefits and also the risks of using injections such as Ozempic to lose weight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether we like it or not, the injection revolution has a lot to do with it,\u201d she commented, stressing that despite the criticism, these drugs have demonstrated efficacy. According to the latest studies, \u201cthe obese population in the United States has decreased at a very fast rate in the world thanks to Ozempic\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2><!--more--><\/h2>\n<h2>Promising projections<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29115\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29115\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29115\" src=\"https:\/\/nuevaonda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/ozempic-2.jpg\" alt=\"Ozempic\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29115\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chiquibaby talked about Ozempic in his show \/ PHOTO: Envato<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The obesity rate could fall even further over the next five years, by as much as 11%, according to estimates.<\/p>\n<p>However, this decrease does not depend on the drug alone:<\/p>\n<p>Chiquibaby emphasizes that it is key to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes a good diet, regular physical activity, good sleep habits and adequate supplements.<\/p>\n<p>He also warned that there are multiple brands on the market &#8211; \u201cthere are already about 10 different brands\u201d- and that not all of them are the same, so having a reliable medical guide is essential.<\/p>\n<h2>Misuse for vanity<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_29117\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29117\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29117\" src=\"https:\/\/nuevaonda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/ozempic-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-29117\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chiquibaby talked about Ozempic in his show \/ PHOTO: Envato<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the strongest points made in this podcast was his criticism of the use of these injections for aesthetic reasons:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor those people who occupy it, who are diabetic, I applaud it&#8230; but for the other people who do it for vanity, they take away someone else&#8217;s right.
