Every year, millions of Americans miss their chance to claim IRS, Social Security and other federal benefit checks simply because they don&#8217;t know key dates.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Government Accountability Office<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gao.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(GAO<\/a>), each year the government leaves billions of dollars in payments unclaimed, especially affecting the Hispanic community due to the lack of information in their language.
