Major League Soccer (MLS<\/a>) announced Wednesday that it is investigating Casemiro’s signing with Inter Miami due to possible unauthorized contact with the player, whose rights in the North American league belonged to the Los Angeles Galaxy, the club that was required to authorize any negotiations.<\/p>\n

“Major League Soccer is reviewing an allegation of match-fixing against Inter Miami. The league is gathering all relevant information and will refrain from making further comments until the review is complete,” the organization said in a statement.<\/p>\n
