Yolanda Andrade once again opened up to her followers by sharing an update on her health. The TV host<\/a> and actress posted a video on her social media accounts in which she appears lying in bed, with a patch over one eye and visibly affected by the intense physical pain she is experiencing as a result of the conditions she has been diagnosed with in recent years.<\/p>\n

With her characteristic candor, the host acknowledged that she is going through one of the most difficult days since she began her battle with a neurodegenerative disease, though she also offered a message of hope by saying she is confident she will feel better the next day.<\/p>\n

In the video released on Wednesday, Yolanda Andrade spoke candidly about the severe pain she is currently experiencing and how it has affected her daily life.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere I am\u2014what\u2019s left of me\u2014but tomorrow I\u2019ll wake up feeling better. The pain really knocked me out today; the worst part is that now it\u2019s the other eye,\u201d she said as she showed the patch covering part of her face.<\/p>\n

The host also explained that her symptoms are not limited to her eyesight, as she has begun to experience generalized pain in various parts of her body.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy head is in a lot of pain\u2014my head, my ribs, my whole body,\u201d he said, revealing the physical hardship he is going through.<\/p>\n

The images quickly sparked a wave of messages of support from colleagues, friends, and followers, who sent him words of encouragement and strength.<\/p>\n

It was in 2025 that Yolanda Andrade announced that she had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease that affects the neurons responsible for voluntary movement and causes a progressive loss of muscle strength.<\/p>\n

At that moment, she realized that receiving the diagnosis was a heavy blow for both her and her family.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a tough few days since I was diagnosed with ALS and a few other things. It\u2019s been a very difficult year for me, my family, and my loved ones,\u201d he confessed at the time.<\/p>\n

Months later, he also revealed that he suffered from trigeminal neuralgia, a condition considered one of the most severe causes of facial pain due to the involvement of that nerve.<\/p>\n

The TV host’s health problems began several years before her diagnoses were known.<\/p>\n

In 2023, she was hospitalized after experiencing complications that initially baffled the specialists. Some time later, Yolanda reported that she had been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, a condition that led to various symptoms, including vision problems and severe photophobia, which is why she began wearing an eye patch over one of her eyes. <\/p>\n

Throughout 2024, he continued to undergo multiple medical tests, as he continued to experience difficulty speaking and mobility issues.<\/p>\n

At the time, he explained that he would be traveling to Los Angeles to undergo further evaluations with specialists, as doctors were trying to determine the cause of his neurological symptoms.<\/p>\n

Despite the complexity of her medical condition, Yolanda Andrade has tried to maintain an optimistic attitude toward her illness and to share honestly about the ups and downs of her journey.<\/p>\n

On several occasions, he has acknowledged that he suffers from chronic conditions for which there is currently no definitive cure, a situation that has completely transformed his daily routine and his outlook on life.<\/p>\n

Although the physical pain remains a constant, the TV host insists on staying strong and grateful for the support she receives from her loved ones and her followers.
