the artist said in English in a video posted on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>The singer invited local organizations to apply for funding to help affected students and teachers return to school and thus restore access to education.<\/p>\n<h2>Shakira Speaks Out in Support of Venezuela<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_185056\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-185056\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-185056 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/nuevaonda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Sin-titulo-13.jpg\" alt=\"Shakira Announces FIFA's Support for Venezuela in the Wake of the Earthquake Tragedy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"2065\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-185056\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">PHOTO: Instagram &#8216;Shakira&#8217;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Shakira reported that several officials have already &#8220;stepped forward&#8221; in this campaign, including Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.<\/p>\n<p>He also called on Portugal&#8217;s Prime Minister, Lu\u00eds Montenegro; France&#8217;s President, Emmanuel Macron; and Germany&#8217;s Foreign Minister, Friedrich Merz, to commit to &#8220;unlocking the necessary resources to support children&#8217;s education during Venezuela&#8217;s recovery.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you believe that all children deserve the chance to dream, join this effort,&#8221;
