In an interview with the international channel NTN24, the actress explained that she has had a close relationship with this foundation for some time because of how quickly it is able to get resources to affected communities.<\/p>\n

Machado emphasized that the organization has an extensive network of partners and strategic alliances that enable it to distribute food, medicine, drinking water, basic necessities, and support for rescue efforts in emergency situations.<\/p>\n

One of them was host Ra\u00fal Gonz\u00e1lez, who, during a broadcast of the program *Despierta Am\u00e9rica*<\/em>, admitted to being deeply affected by the news he constantly receives from Venezuela.<\/p>\n

The host explained that he stays in touch with friends and family members who have lost loved ones, homes, and belongings, and acknowledged that it is heartbreaking to hear stories of people whose lives changed completely in a matter of seconds.<\/p>\n

Rescue efforts continue<\/h2>\n

While national and international organizations continue their search and rescue operations, Venezuelan authorities continue to update the death toll from the tragedy.<\/p>\n

According to official reports released one day after the earthquakes, the death toll rose to 235, while the number of injured exceeded 4,300.<\/p>\n
