Fabi\u00e1n had three shots, Oyarzabal two, and Laporte and Mikel Merino one each\u2026 but none of them could get past Vozinha or Pico Lopes, the Cape Verdean center back, who was all over Spain\u2019s attackers.<\/p>\n

He went in hard and closed down the angle to block a shot by Oyarzabal in the 88th minute.<\/p>\n

Neither Spain nor Cape Verde could come out on top; Cape Verde put up a fight and even briefly held out hope of earning more than one point.<\/p>\n
