A few days before the anniversary of her death<\/a>, Maribel Guardia decided to pay a deeply personal tribute to her son, Juli\u00e1n Figueroa. On April 5, the actress shared on social networks a video that moved her followers, where she showed the process of a very special tattoo, full of symbolism and memories. <\/p>\n

The place chosen was no accident. Guardia went to Buda Ink Studio, the same studio where his son had been tattooed on several occasions. This detail, as he explained, gave him a stronger emotional connection with him, knowing that he shared the same space that at some point was significant for Julian. <\/p>\n

For this tribute, the actress chose tattoo artist Carlos Serrano Keir, who had previously worked with Juli\u00e1n Figueroa. The decision not only responded to his talent, but also to the bond that the artist had with her son. <\/p>\n

“I was contacted by a guy who had tattooed my son Julian… and I said: ‘Yes, it has to be him,'” Maribel commented, revealing that she was looking for more than just a good aesthetic result: she wanted an emotional experience.<\/p>\n

After several days of reflection, the actress chose to get her son’s eye tattooed on her forearm. To do so, she chose a photograph she found on Juli\u00e1n’s Instagram profile, an image she considered perfect to capture his essence. “I came across this photo and I would love it to be the eye,” she explained. <\/p>\n

The tattoo not only represented a visual memory, but also an intimate process. During the session, the tattoo artist shared that one of the designs he had previously done on Julian was also related to an eye, which added even deeper symbolism to the tribute. <\/p>\n

Carlos Serrano Keir documented the entire procedure and later shared the final result on his social networks. Along with the video he wrote a message that reflected the emotional charge of the moment: “A tattoo that goes beyond the ink”. <\/p>\n

The result was surprising for its level of detail. Julian’s look was captured with great realism, which generated a strong reaction among those who followed the process. <\/p>\n
