The 2026 F1 (Formula 1) season is experiencing one of the most unusual starts in recent years. The Federation Internationale de l’Automobile(FIA<\/a>) was forced to suspend the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grands Prix due to the war in the Middle East, which caused an unexpected pause in the calendar.<\/p>\n

After the Grand Prix of Japan, where the young Italian Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) took the victory, the competition went into a break. Now, all eyes are on the Grand Prix of Miami, which will mark the restart of the championship. The race will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Miami Gardens, Florida, corresponding to the sixth date of the calendar. For fans in the United States, the race is scheduled for 5:00 PM (Eastern Time). <\/p>\n

Kimi Antonelli is the main protagonist of the beginning of the season.<\/p>\n

At just 19 years of age, the Mercedes driver has made history by becoming the youngest championship leader.<\/p>\n

The Italian has 72 points, after his victories in China and Japan, and surpasses his teammate George Russell, who accumulates 63 points.<\/p>\n

In third position is Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) with 49 points, followed by Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) with 41.<\/p>\n
