Venezuelan driver<\/a> Ra\u00fal Gonz\u00e1lez<\/span><\/span> decided to open a very personal stage of his life when he launched his autobiographical book The truth dies standing up<\/span><\/span>. In this work, the presenter shared for the first time in a public way details about his sexual orientation, a subject he kept private for years. <\/p>\n

At the time, the also co-host of the program Despierta Am\u00e9rica<\/span><\/span> explained that talking about this aspect of his life was not easy, as it involved facing social prejudices and questioning that many people in the LGBTQ+ community often experience.<\/p>\n

During one of his reflections, Gonzalez expressed that no one would choose to live something that could bring pain or social rejection, but that he finally decided to share his story because he wanted to be true to himself.<\/p>\n

“Today, at 53 years old, I can say that I feel free because I have been a congruent, respectful man with values,” he said at the time.<\/p>\n

In his statements, the presenter also took the opportunity to send a special message to parents who are going through similar situations with their children. As he explained, many times the process of acceptance can be complex both for those who are going through it and for their close environment. <\/p>\n

For him, love and respect must prevail over any prejudice or social belief.<\/p>\n

“There are many people who in the name of God condemn you or think it’s wrong, but no one would choose something that causes them so much pain because of what society thinks,” he commented.<\/p>\n

Raul Gonzalez is in love: A new chance at love<\/h2>\n

Now, after going through this personal process and finding the emotional peace he was looking for, the driver is willing to give himself a new opportunity in the sentimental field.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with journalists Luis Sandoval<\/span><\/span> y Erika Reyna<\/span><\/span> for the Buena Vibra<\/em> radio show, the presenter shared for the first time that he is currently meeting someone special.<\/p>\n

“I’m going to say it for the first time publicly: I’m on to something,” he revealed during the conversation.<\/p>\n

The driver explained that he has always been very reserved with his personal life, but after the process of acceptance and growth he went through, he decided to allow himself to experience love again.<\/p>\n

During the interview, Gonz\u00e1lez also made it clear that his partner does not belong to show business or public life. For that reason, he has preferred to keep his identity private. <\/p>\n
