Mexico “energetically” rejected this Saturday the military attack by the United States against Venezuela, with actions in Caracas and other cities in the country, in which Nicol\u00e1s Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were captured, and urged the United Nations to “act immediately”.<\/p>\n

“The Government of Mexico condemns and strongly rejects the military actions unilaterally executed in recent hours by armed forces of the United States of America against targets in the territory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in clear violation of Article 2 of the Charter of the United Nations (UN),” asserted a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared by the president, Claudia Sheinbaum.<\/p>\n
