Over the weekend, rumors circulated on social networks claiming that regional Mexican music singer<\/a> Alfredo Olivas had been the victim of an armed attack in Tamaulipas, generating concern among his followers and reactivating fears due to a history of violence in his personal life. However, these versions were completely discarded after the artist’s team clarified the situation through an official statement.<\/p>\n

The Star Media Consulting agency, which represents the interpreter of El Paciente<\/em> and En definitiva<\/em>, published a strong message denying the speculations.<\/p>\n

“Given the circulation of information on social networks about an alleged armed attack against the artist Alfredo Olivas, we want to clarify that this information is completely false,” said the company.<\/p>\n

The communiqu\u00e9 sought to immediately stop the spread of inaccurate information that began to go viral without foundation, stressing the importance of going to reliable sources.<\/p>\n

The news generated concern among the singer’s fans, especially because Alfredo Olivas was the victim of an attack in 2015, when he was shot several times during a performance in Chihuahua. Since then, any rumor related to his safety usually has a significant emotional impact on the public.<\/p>\n

In response to the alarming messages that began to spread on social networks, the agency reiterated that the singer is in perfect health and that he has not made any recent trips to the state where the attack allegedly occurred.<\/p>\n

“Alfredo Olivas is doing well, continues with his scheduled activities as normal and has not been in or visited the aforementioned state in the last few hours,” Star Media Consulting detailed.<\/p>\n

Tamaulipas authorities also rule out attack on Alfredo Olivas<\/h2>\n

The Tamaulipas Security Spokesperson’s Office issued an additional statement to deny the rumors, clarifying that at no time was an official report received regarding an armed attack on the Ciudad Victoria highway or any risky events involving the artist.<\/p>\n

“So far, security institutions have not received any reports of events or risky situations on the highways of Tamaulipas,” authorities reported.<\/p>\n

With this statement, it was confirmed that the alleged attack never occurred and that the information disseminated was unsubstantiated.<\/p>\n

Following the commotion generated, the singer’s team thanked the public for their concern, but also urged fans to verify any news through official sources to avoid the spread of rumors that may cause unjustified alarm. The recommendation was especially pertinent considering the history of disinformation that usually surrounds regional Mexican figures.<\/p>\n
