During the ceremony where the confrontation occurred, Miss Iraq was the first to openly express her support for Fatima Bosch, accompanying her minutes after the incident.<\/p>\n

Her gesture was caught on camera and applauded on social networks, where numerous users praised the female union in the face of the behavior of the Thai director, who called Bosch a “fool” and ordered her to leave the premises.<\/p>\n

The moment, widely broadcast on digital platforms, unleashed a wave of reactions around the world. However, it also gave way to rumors and misunderstandings about the attitude of other contestants who were present, among them Miss Cuba, Lina Luaces, daughter of renowned presenter Lili Estefan.<\/p>\n

Through a message published in Threads, the Cuban-American hostess responded to a content creator who spread that version, calling it false and unfounded.<\/p>\n

“We love Fatima! I was there when she came out to talk to the press and the missologists. Listen to my voice when she finished: I shouted at her, ‘Bravo Fatima, bravo, bravo, bravo!” the presenter wrote, making it clear that both she and her daughter backed Bosch.<\/p>\n

Estefan also clarified that Lina was one of the first contestants to leave the room as a sign of solidarity with the Mexican. “My daughter was one of the first to leave with the first group that left the contest. The also host of El Gordo y la Flaca<\/em> insisted that Lina and other participants decided to leave the room voluntarily after the verbal aggression that Fatima Bosch witnessed. Sources close to the organization said that the tense episode occurred during a preparatory meeting for the international contest, to be held on November 21 in Thailand.
