Pop star Taylor Swift headlined the famous “celebrity row” on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden during Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.
At 36, the American singer will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this Thursday in New York, becoming the second-youngest living person to do so after Stevie Wonder.
Swift may hold her wedding to football player Travis Kelce at the same stadium in July, according to TMZ.
During halftime, the legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan—formed in the Staten Island neighborhood in 1992 and currently on their farewell tour—provided the entertainment.
The so-called “Celebrity Row”—the row of celebrities with the best seats courtside, right in front of the action—was also filled on Wednesday with figures from the worlds of film, music, comedy, and sports, all united by their passion for the Knicks.
Actor and director Ben Stiller was there, too; he’s been recording and sharing every moment of the season on his iPhone, much to the delight of his social media followers. According to Page Six, he’s filming a documentary for HBO on his phone.

Other “fans” included actor Timothée Chalamet, who has been showing off his love for the Knicks and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, at the Garden; and Spike Lee, known for his flamboyance, who wears the team’s colors year-round: on Monday, he wore a T-shirt signed by Pope Leo. Chalamet, Lee, and Stiller have even traveled to watch the team’s away games during the Finals.
Also in attendance today were actors and comedians Jerry Seinfeld—a regular at Knicks games for years—Adam Sandler, Michael J. Fox, and Chris Rock, as well as Julianne Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, and Liam Neeson.
NBA legends such as Patrick Ewing, Carmelo Anthony, and Stephon Marbury were also in attendance at today’s game.
Other familiar faces included Jimmy Fallon, the popular host of *The Tonight Show*, and rapper Fat Joe, who was born in the Bronx and has attended both home and away games during this phase.
On Monday, Madison Square Garden welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump, prompting the venue to implement unprecedented security measures in collaboration with the Secret Service.
Also cheering on the Knicks in Game 3 were the stars of the legendary series “Law & Order,” Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay, which aired again today; as well as stars from “The Sopranos,” such as Edie Falco and Steve Schirripa, and figures from the music world, such as Jadakiss, A Boogie, and Shaboozey, reported Agencia EFE.
