Liga MX Adjusts Its Schedule for Mexico vs. Colombia: Here’s How Matchday 10 Will Change in the United States

Liga MX has rescheduled three matches for Matchday 10 of the 2026 Apertura, an unusual date because it will take place during the international break and will coincide on Saturday, September 26, with the Mexico-Colombia match that will mark the start of Rafael Márquez’s tenure as head coach of El Tri. Matchday 10 will be played from Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27, despite the FIFA international break. Liga MX confirmed schedule adjustments for the Cruz Azul vs. Toluca, Santos Laguna vs. Pachuca, and Tigres vs. Puebla matches.

For fans living in the United States, here are the new Saturday kickoff times in Eastern Time (ET): Cruz Azul vs. Toluca: 6:50 p.m. ET / Santos Laguna vs. Pachuca: 11:05 p.m. ET / Tigres vs. Puebla: 11:10 p.m. ET. Cruz Azul-Toluca was originally scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Mexico Central Time and will now kick off ten minutes earlier, at 4:50 p.m. The Santos-Pachuca match was moved from 7:00 p.m. to 9:05 p.m., while the Tigres-Puebla match was moved from 7:00 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.

The changes coincide with the Mexico vs. Colombia friendly, scheduled for that same Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

It will be the Mexican national team’s first match under the new leadership of Rafael Márquez.

The Mexican Soccer Federation has confirmed both the date and the venue for the match.

This change allows the El Tri match to be scheduled separately from the evening games between Santos and Pachuca and Tigres and Puebla.

Matchday 10 will feature action for all 18 clubs and includes nine matches:

Atlante vs. Monterrey, Tijuana vs. Atlas, Cruz Azul vs. Toluca, Chivas vs. Querétaro, Santos vs. Pachuca.

Tigres vs. Puebla, Pumas vs. Atlético de San Luis, León vs. Juárez, and Necaxa vs. América (Filed as: Liga MX Changes Matchday 10 Schedule).

According to the information currently available for the United States, Cruz Azul vs. Toluca will be broadcast on TUDN, Univision, and ViX Premium.

For Tigres vs. Puebla, FOX Deportes and Universo are among the U.S. networks announced.

For Santos vs. Pachuca, ViX is listed among the reported options for the match.

However, the TV guides consulted do not yet uniformly reflect the new schedule.

For this reason, it is recommended to check the platform on Saturday itself before kickoff (Filed as: Liga MX changes Matchday 10 schedules).
