Calzadilla set up the first goal in the 11th minute with a shot that Argentine goalkeeper Esteban Andrada only partially stopped.

Next, Luis Puente stepped up to make it 1-0.

The team led by Argentine Matías Almeyda immediately set out in search of the equalizer and found it in the 18th minute thanks to Hugo Cuypers.

In the second half, Atlante maintained its offensive momentum and scored in the 53rd minute thanks to a low cross from Palacios; the ball hit the post, and Luis Calzadilla took advantage of the rebound to put it in the back of the net.

Los Potros made it 3-1 on a counterattack in which Eduardo Tercero broke through and received a pass from Jhojan Palacios to tip the scales in the 64th minute.

The Rayados pulled one back in the 83rd minute on a corner kick that Roberto de la Rosa headed just out of Óscar Jiménez’s reach.

In stoppage time, Atlante launched a counterattack, and Palacios put the icing on the cake (Filed as: Jhojan Palacios shines in Atlante’s rout).
