Pending confirmation of Rihanna’s long-announced album or surprises from Beyoncé or Bruce Springsteen, 2026 will see the arrival of new music from Madonna, Charli XCX (in the form of a movie soundtrack) or the long-awaited return of BTS.
Rihanna and new music?
In February of this year was the last time Rihanna talked about her ninth studio album and at that time she assured that she wanted it to be released in 2025. But at the gates of 2026, she has not said anything again, although her fans are confident that an album that would come no less than ten years after ‘Anti’ will finally be released. In this decade, the Barbadian singer has had three children with A$AP Rocky and has focused on her clothing and beauty brands.
Madonna
The queen of pop announced in September that next year she will finally release a new album six years after ‘Madame X’. And she will do it with Warner, the label that made her a star and to which she returns after three albums recorded with Interscope.
Charli XCX (‘Wuthering Heights’)
Following her worldwide success with ‘Brat’ (2024), British Charli XCX has created the soundtrack for one of the most anticipated films of 2026, the remake of ‘Wuthering Heights’/’Wuthering Heights’, directed by Emerald Fennell and starring Jacob Elordi. BTS (Spring)

Lana del Rey (‘Stove’)

Gorillaz (‘The Mountain’)
Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s virtual band plans to release ‘The Mountain’ on February 27, four days after the first concert of the album’s presentation tour, on February 22 in Los Angeles.
