Carlos Rivera announced changes to several dates on his Latin American tour due to a vocal cord injury. The Mexican singer informed his fans that he will need to rest completely for the next few weeks, so he was forced to postpone some of the concerts he had scheduled as part of his Viva México Tour.
On social media, the singer explained that his health requires care and rest to prevent the injury from getting worse. Due to this medical recommendation, his scheduled performances in Colombia, Guatemala, and El Salvador will not be able to take place on the originally announced dates.
The news was shared in a statement posted on the artist’s official channels, in which he explained the reasons behind this decision and asked his fans for their understanding.
You must get complete rest
According to information shared by Carlos Rivera, the singer has been experiencing problems with his vocal cords for several weeks and has been working to address the issue.
However, following a medical evaluation, the specialists determined that he needs to remain on complete bed rest for at least one month to aid his recovery and prevent the injury from causing more serious complications.

In light of this recommendation, Rivera decided to temporarily suspend his live performances and adjust part of his tour schedule.
The artist took the opportunity to thank his fans for their support and understanding regarding the changes that will be made to the tour. According to the medical report, his recovery is expected to progress well as long as he adheres to the rest period prescribed by his doctors and no complications arise.
When will Carlos Rivera return to the stage?
