Colombian singer Manuel Turizo teamed up this Friday with young Chilean artist Martin White on “La Guaracha,” a single in which the two aim to blend the festive rhythms of the guaracha with a contemporary sound influenced by urban and electronic music.
The song, released this Friday along with a music video filmed in Miami, blends danceable melodies with “an energy designed to take over dance floors and playlists around the world,” his public relations team explained in a statement.
Known to his fans as the King of Guaracha, Martin White invited Turizo to participate in the project, which aims to bring this genre—originally from Cuba—to a more international audience without losing its Latin identity.

White, 23, went viral on TikTok after releasing the song “V16” along with a dance challenge that even Argentine singer María Becerra joined in on.
The launch coincides with the excitement surrounding the 2026 World Cup and, according to its organizers, aims to celebrate the energy and connection among Latin American peoples, using sports and music as unifying elements.
The music video, directed by Spamchito and the Benavides Brothers, features a tropical aesthetic set in Miami, with references to soccer, urban settings, and summer.
“La Guaracha” arrives weeks after Turizo released “Apambichao” with Maluma, a collaboration in which both artists paid tribute to Caribbean sensuality and the pambiche, a slower, more rhythmic variation of Dominican merengue, before now turning to a fusion inspired by the guaracha, according to Agencia EFE.
