TV host Belinda Urías, known for her work on the show“Más Grupero” and her extensive experience covering Mexican regional music, decided to speak publicly about the tense relationship she has had with singer Christian Nodal.
In a recent interview, the host shared a series of experiences that, she said, have led to a gradual drifting apart between the two over the years.

According to Urías’s account, the tension with Nodal did not stem from a single incident, but rather from a series of interactions that began some time ago. One of the moments he remembers most clearly occurred during an interview conducted during the pandemic, coinciding with the promotion of the song “Dime cómo quieres, ” a collaboration between Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar.

The host explained that from the start she sensed a distant attitude on the part of the interviewee, who, according to her account, showed little interest in actively participating in the conversation. This situation reportedly hindered the natural flow of the interview.
Urias explained that the singer seemed distracted at various points, which made things more complicated than usual for the production team.
In the middle of the interview, Belinda Urías highlighted the role of Ángela Aguilar, who—according to her account—took a completely different approach than Nodal. The singer stepped in to answer questions and help keep the conversation flowing, preventing the interview from becoming awkward or stalling.
The host noted that Ángela’s participation was key to making the interview a success, as her willingness helped balance the dynamic among the three people present. This gesture, she explained, left a positive impression on her, especially given the professionalism shown during a tense moment.
A reunion that did not resolve the conflict
Years after that first incident, Belinda Urías and Christian Nodal ran into each other again during a lunch organized for members of the media. The host said she took the opportunity to try to clear up what had happened in the past.
In a relaxed tone, she told the singer that she had felt somewhat uncomfortable during that interview because of his attitude. However, according to her account, Nodal’s reaction was not what she had expected, as the comment apparently caused him immediate annoyance, once again creating tension between them.
Far from resolving the situation, this second meeting reinforced the sense of distance the host had already felt since the first episode.
After going public with these experiences, Belinda Urías stated that she has no intention of delving further into the matter. The host explained that, given the lack of willingness to engage in dialogue at the time, she believes there is nothing further to clarify.
